Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Alchemy Blocks (the "Game"), a free browser-based puzzle game available at alchemy-blocks.com. By loading or playing the Game you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the Game.

These Terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how data is handled.

Alchemy Blocks is provided free of charge, with no account, registration or subscription required. The Game runs entirely within your browser: there is no server component, and your progress, settings and high scores are stored only in your own browser's local storage.

Because no account exists, we cannot recover your scores or progress if you clear your browser data, switch devices, or use private browsing.

We may add, change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Game — including game modes, scoring rules, or the Daily Challenge — at any time and without notice.

You may play the Game for personal, non-commercial entertainment. You agree not to:

• Modify, reverse engineer, decompile or tamper with the Game's code, save data, or scoring logic;
• Use bots, scripts, automated tools, or any other method to play the Game or manipulate scores;
• Interfere with, block, spoof, or artificially interact with the adverts served alongside the Game;
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the site or the infrastructure serving it;
• Redistribute, resell, rehost, reframe or republish the Game or its assets without written permission;
• Use the Game for any unlawful purpose or in breach of any applicable law or regulation.

The Daily Challenge is intended to be a fair comparison between players. Manipulating your device clock, altering stored data, or otherwise circumventing the Game's rules to influence a result is a breach of these Terms.

The Game is funded by advertising supplied by Google AdSense and its partners. By using the Game you acknowledge that adverts will be displayed, including banner adverts beneath the board, interstitial adverts at the end of a run, and an optional rewarded advert used by the Void Blast power-up.

Rewarded adverts are always optional: you are never required to watch one to continue playing. Declining or failing to complete a rewarded advert simply means the associated in-game reward is not granted.

We do not control the content of third-party adverts and are not responsible for the products, services or claims made in them. How advertising data is handled is described in our Privacy Policy.

The Game, including its name, source code, game design, rules, artwork, icons, sound effects and written guides, is the property of its developer and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to access and play the Game for your own entertainment. No other rights are granted. You may not copy, adapt, distribute, publicly display or create derivative works from the Game or its assets without prior written permission.

You are welcome to share screenshots and scores, and to link to the Game.

The Game is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Game will be uninterrupted, timely, error-free, or free of defects, or that it will function correctly in every browser or on every device. You use the Game at your own risk.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, progress, scores, profits or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the Game.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

The Game and this site may contain links to third-party websites and services, including advertisers and Google's advertising and consent tools. Those services operate under their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their content, practices or availability.

The Game is a general-audience puzzle game and is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA and UK). If you are a minor in your jurisdiction, please review these Terms with a parent or guardian before playing.

We may revise these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the Game, our advertising arrangements, or applicable law. Revisions will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the Game after a revision constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Where you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you retain the benefit of any mandatory consumer protection rights available to you under the law of your country of residence.
